1. Accepted Payment Methods
We offer a variety of convenient and secure payment options to suit your preferences:
- Credit and Debit Cards: We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, and UnionPay. (Credit card transactions are securely processed via Oceanpayment).
- PayPal: You can choose to pay securely using your PayPal account. When selecting this option at checkout, you will be directed to the PayPal site to complete your purchase before returning to Hewno.
- Digital Wallets: For a faster checkout experience, especially on mobile devices, we fully support Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL)
We understand that investing in quality solid wood furniture is a commitment. To make your purchase more manageable, we have partnered with Klarna and Afterpay. These services allow you to split your total purchase into 4 interest-free installments, charged every 2 weeks. Simply select Klarna or Afterpay at checkout to apply.
2. Payment Security
Your security is our top priority. Hewno is hosted on Shopify, which is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. This compliance extends by default to all stores powered by Shopify. We do not store your credit card information on our servers; all payment data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) during the transaction process.
3. Billing Process
- Time of Charge: Your payment method will be charged immediately upon placing the order and clicking the "Complete Order" button at checkout.
- Order Confirmation: Once the payment is successfully processed, you will receive an automatic Order Confirmation email with your receipt and order details.
- Hidden Fees: There are no hidden fees. The total amount displayed at checkout (including the item price, applicable taxes, and shipping if any) is the exact and final amount you will be billed.
4. Payment Troubleshooting
If your payment is declined at checkout, please try the following:
- Check that your card's billing details (such as the security code and billing address) match what you entered.
- Ensure your card has not expired.
- If you are purchasing from outside your credit card's issuing country, your bank may block the transaction for fraud prevention. Please contact your bank to authorize the international charge.
- Try an alternative payment method, such as PayPal or a different credit card.
